Wootton Bassett Infants’ School aims to:
If a teacher, or you as a parent, feel that your child is having difficulties at school we encourage communication between class teacher and/or SENCO to ensure this can be discussed. We believe that the closer we work together the more successful any help will be. Many problems can be sorted out easily by matching the level of help to the needs of the child with step-by-step programmes. Sometimes it is felt that a child needs a particular kind of help, in which case the help of specialists from outside school may be used.
If you have any complaints about the support the school is providing your child, in the first instance please contact the SEND team by emailing SENDteam@woottonbassett-inf.wilts.sch.uk. All complaints will be handled following our complaints procedures as detailed in our policy.
