• Wootton Bassett Infants’ school is a small friendly school situated in the heart of the community. ‘The school is a rich and stimulating environment for the pupils. Our Pupils are confident and they communicate well with each other and their peers. Our Teachers motivate and interest children in a broad range of activities. Children are keen learners. They listen carefully to adults and each other ’ (OFSTED 2019).

    Lots of visitors comment on the family type atmosphere of the school and we have a real partnership with our parents.

    We encourage all our children to become confident and caring individual and we help them to develop a lifelong love of learning.

    We provide a diverse and creative curriculum with a wide range of first hand experiences to develop creative thinking and a thirst for new experiences.

    We welcome diversity and encourage all our children to understand the contribution they can make to the community and wider society.

    We recognise every child as a unique individual and nurture them to enable them to achieve. It is our aim that children leave Wootton Bassett Infants School with lasting and fond memories of their time here.  After all ……learning should be fun!

The school is currently closed to all children with the exception of vulnerable children and children of key workers.
